However, nail art actually disappeared from the scene for a while following its short popularity in the early 2000s. Nail fashions and manicures have, for the most part, remained monotonal, simple, and polished during the past ten years or so, in stark contrast to the grandeur and excess of decorated talons and elaborate patterns.
